A particularly ecological certification. In addition to Swedish oaks, Berg&Berg also has a great range of softwoods, such as pine or larch in oiled, white-oiled or varnished finishes.

Our parquet is produced completely without glues containing formaldehyde – the first in the world.



The floor is one of the largest surfaces in the house. It is therefore important that chemicals that are harmful to humans, such as formaldehyde, do not evaporate from the parquet into the air. It is already known that formaldehyde irritates the eyes and respiratory tract in low concentrations. It is also suspected that it is linked to asthma and allergy symptoms. Timberwise is the first parquet manufacturer in the world to completely stop using adhesives containing formaldehyde in its products. We are also the only parquet manufacturer in Finland whose products have the Allergy ID of the Finnish Allergy and Asthma Association.

Yes, of course, it is then not called 1-layer parquet but rather solid parquet, solid wood parquet or, in the longer versions, solid wood plank or solid wood plank.

Solid parquet means that the board is made of the same wood material from top to bottom.

2-layer parquet is a special feature within the parquet range. At 10mm, the parquet units are significantly thinner than the other types of prefinished parquet and are therefore ideal for underfloor heating. These units can also be used to easily lay patterns such as herringbone.
