Aluminum dirt trap for entrance mats and gratings

For less maintenance under aluminum profile mats and the possibility of water drainage, you can install the aluminum dirt trap as a substructure under aluminum profile mats. The aluminum dirt trap is made to your exact measurements and can be used inside as well as outside of buildings.

As an option, you can install a water drain with the aluminum dirt trap.  With the aluminum dirt trap you can choose at which position a water drain is installed. From the water drain, in turn, pipes must be planned for connection to the sewer system.

You can design large areas with the aluminum dirt trap. We can produce the aluminum dirt trap in almost all dimensions. 

The aluminum dirt trap has an installation height of 80 mm and square tubes (30x30x3 mm) are inserted at regular intervals of approx. 30 cm in the running direction for the purpose of secure support of the aluminum profile mats. 

 

Installation of the aluminum dirt trap for entrance mats and gratings

 

Normally, you will receive the aluminum dirt trap directly assembled.

Place the assembled aluminum dirt trap in the recessed screed or floor covering. Make sure that the upper edge of the frame is flush with the floor covering. The bed on which the dirt trap rests should have been prepared beforehand and must be absolutely flat and even so that the aluminum dirt trap rests properly.

 

Special features of the aluminum dirt collector:

- For best water drainage, the square tubes are mounted on feet above the bottom of the tray.

- Water drainage devices with strainer can be mounted anywhere.

-Large areas are covered with several tubs.

- There are no limits to individual design possibilities with these tubs.
